Dodgers 2015 postseason shares set at $34,169 each

LOS ANGELES -- For their NLDS appearance, Dodgers players who receive a full postseason share will receive $34,168.74, Major League Baseball announced on Monday.

MLB announced the full distribution of the players pool from the 2015 postseason, which totaled $69,882,149.26, a new major league high. The exact breakdown per series wasn't revealed by MLB, but the players pool from the World Series alone was $20,933,256, per Adam Rubin of ESPN.

The players pool is derived from 50 percent of the gate receipts of bot Wild Card Games, 60 percent of the gate receipts from the first three games of all four Division Series, 60 percent of the gate receipts from the first four games of each League Championship Series, and 60 percent of the gate receipts from the first four games of the World Series.
