The Dodgers are hoping to get a few of their guys out to the All-Star Game this coming July. Just a few weeks out, they have 5 players currently vying for a spot on the team with fan votes pouring in all week.
But the Dodgers will have a few guys representing them there for the Futures Games. That announcement came this morning.
The MLB All-Star Futures Game showcases the next generation of big league talent with some of the top prospects in the sport. Former Rockies’ third baseman Vinny Castilla and longtime reliever LaTroy Hawkins will serve as managers during the game.
