Dodger Stadium Lights Up Blue To Honor Healthcare Workers Combating Coronavirus Pandemic

As the world continues to grapple with the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, efforts are being made to support the millions of healthcare workers and first responders putting their lives on the line every day to treat infected patients.

To show their appreciation, many people have taken to buying free meals for the heroes working on the front lines. Earlier this month, Los Angeles Dodgers closer Kenley Jansen purchased breakfast and had it delivered to employees at UCLA Mattel Children’s Hospital.

A plethora of landmarks around the United States are also honoring healthcare workers by turning blue.
