- Dave Roberts said that Clayton Kershaw does not need Tommy John Surgery and that Max Muncy does not need surgery. Let me translate the “DaveSpeak:” (1) Clayton is weighing whether he will retire or not, so he will not need TJ at this time; and (2) We will have to wait a few days on a new MRI to see if Max Muncy needs surgery, which he probably will and the best we can hope is taht he is back in Spring Training 2022. I am just trying to give you a little bad news at a time… not all at once.
