A disappointing season for the Arizona Diamondbacks led to the club being sellers at the trade deadline, and more drama in the dog days of the 2025 season has made it all look worse. In fact, it could set up up another Los Angeles Dodgers blockbuster this offseason.
According to reports from Bob Nightengale, the Diamondbacks will listen to trade offers for All-Star second baseman Ketel Marte this winter.
Nigthengale wrote that Marte "can be a diva in the clubhouse, agitating his teammates and coaching staff." The D-backs are allegedly aware of this, but also recognize how incredibly talented and beloved he is among fans.
