Dean Kremer sparkles in Tulsa debut

A pretty good day for the Dodger minor league affiliates. Tulsa swept a double-header, Rancho Cucamonga won their 10th straight game and three of the four Rookie-League teams won.

Dean Kremer made his first start in the Texas League a memorable one as he pitched a three-hit shutout over the Midland RockHounds. Kremer, who was the California League leader in strikeouts with 114, matched a season-high with 11 strikeouts on Thursday.

The Dodgers lost 7-3 to the Round Rock Express (Rangers). The Express scored four runs in the second inning and were never caught.

Tyler Pill started for the Dodgers and gave up five runs in six innings pitched.
