Los Angeles Dodgers two-way star Shohei Ohtani is set to start Game 1 of the NL Division Series, per manager Dave Roberts.
The right-hander is sporting a 2.87 ERA with 62 strikeouts across 47 innings of work this season. Ohtani made his Dodgers pitching debut in June against the San Diego Padres. The start marked his first outing since August 2023, when he was still a member of the Los Angeles Angels.
The NLDS between the defending champions and the powerhouse Philadelphia Phillies is set to kick off on Saturday, Oct. 4.
