PHOENIX — Corey Seager played seven more innings at shortstop in a minor league game against the White Sox on Wednesday, and reiterated that his elbow is giving him no problems and vows to be ready for opening day.
Thursday was the second game on the back fields this week for Seager, who has yet to play in a Cactus League game this spring. That will change later this week, with Seager set to DH on Thursday in the Dodgers’ major league game, followed by playing shortstop for the Dodgers on Friday against the Diamondbacks.
