Chris Anderson goes 8 innings, Jose De Leon continues his impressive May

Sunday the Dodgers minor league affiliates were highlighted by a pair of starting pitching performances.

Player of the day

Jose De Leon said he "did not have [his] fastball command or [his] offspeed command" on Sunday afternoon but he was still able to strike out eight and allow just one run. De Leon picked up his third straight win as he was able to keep the Quakes in the game in his 5u2154 innings by changing speeds.

"I'm a true believer that the hitters will tell you how hard you are throwing, sometimes you got a guy throwing 97-98 and getting hit and sometimes you see hitters swing right through 88-90," De Leon said.
