Check out this fantastic, rarely seen, photograph of several of Brooklyn's boys drinking, partying and carrying-on in the locker room after clinching the 1955 National League pennant. You can see second baseman Don Zimmer give Dodger batboy Charlie Di Giovanna a beer shower as Roger Craig, Dixie Howell, Don Bessent, Billy Loes, Frank Kellert and Russ Meyer cheer on. Best yet, Zimmer is wearing Don Newcombe's oversized straw hat.
