Billingsley, Phillies get rare road win against sloppy Dodgers

Phillies starting pitcher and former Dodger Chad Billingsley throws to the plate during the early innings of Tuesday's game at Dodger Stadium. Billingsley held the Dodgers to two runs and six hits in six innings to earn his first major-league win in more than two years. He struck out three and walked one, pitching with a lead throughout.

LOS ANGELES – In observing the inimitable atrocity that is the 2015 Philadelphia Phillies, it’s easy to wonder how they ever win any games.

Tuesday night showed how. Perhaps weary from their four-hour victory on Monday, the Dodgers played sloppily and handed visiting Philadelphia its 29th win of 2015 by a 7-2 score at Dodger Stadium.
