LOS ANGELES – As the Dodgers reached the All-Star break, Adrian Gonzalez kept his state of the union speech short.
“Four-and-a-half games up. Twelve games over .500,” he said in the post-game clubhouse Sunday. “How can you not be pleased with that?”
Well – maybe because the Dodgers have been a .500 team (29-29) for the past two months. Or because they haven’t been a very good road team (18-22).
