Last night we witnessed the Major League debut of Andrew Toles, who many fans likely did not know beforehand. That is in part because a year ago he was out of baseball altogether. The once promising prospect saw his dream taken away and had to fight his way back. His troubles overcame him before but this time he isn’t taking his opportunity for granted.
Andrew Toles’ past is anything but boring. He was born in Decatur, Georgia, the son of former New Orleans Saints linebacker Alvin Toles. Andrew attended Sandy Creek High School in Tyrone, Georgia, where he quickly became a star player for the baseball team.
