The Los Angeles Dodgers have had tons of chatter regarding three-time MVP Shohei Ohtani lately, mostly regarding where he will be best utilized as a pitcher in the postseason, and president of baseball operations Andrew Friedman recently weighed in on the matter.
Ohtani has made 13 outings on the mound this season, all of which have been starts, but with the current state of the bullpen, Friedman didn’t exactly shut down the idea of an Ohtani appearance in relief.
“Things play out in October that you can’t foresee,” Friedman said.
The Dodgers fell to the Philadelphia Phillies on Monday to kick off a three-game set, but ahead of the contest, former Dodgers right-hander Walker Buehler was spotted with his old teammates.
