In what has been an eventful offseason, the Los Angeles Dodgers were able to retain two of their key free agents, bringing back Blake Treinen and Justin Turner on multi-year contracts.
Looking ahead to this winter, the organization will have another important decision to make with Clayton Kershaw. The longtime Dodgers ace is set to reach free agency for only the second time in his career.
Following the 2018 season, Kershaw and the Dodgers worked together on what eventually became a three-year, $93 million contract extension. It was after the left-handed exercised the opt-out clause included in the seven-year deal he signed prior to the 2014 season.
