Left-handed pitcher Edward Paredes joined the Dodger organization in December 2016. On July 24, 2017, Paredes made his major league debut and also received his first win after completing a 1-2-3 inning against the Minnesota Twins.
After finishing the 2017 season on the Dodger 40-man roster, he began the 2018 season with the Oklahoma City Dodgers.
He made three recall and optioned trips between Los Angeles and Oklahoma City until Paredes was designated for assignment on July 11, 2018. Paredes was outrighted to Oklahoma City on July 16, 2018 and he would finish the season there.
