With or without Chris Paul, Clippers vow to keep their edge for Game 2

HOUSTON >> It was Tuesday afternoon and Clippers coach Doc Rivers was holding court with reporters in the team hotel the day after his team went into Toyota Center sans Chris Paul and walloped the Rockets 117-101 in Game 1 of the Western Conference semifinals.

Not long before, Paul walked by with teammates. In practice gear. Even though the Clippers were not going to formally practice, they were headed down the street to the arena to do some shooting.

To say Rivers was evasive as to whether Paul will play in Game 2 Wednesday night at 6:30, is an understatement.
