Report: Stephenson gets a chance to start

Four out of five starting positions appear to be set with the preseason coming to a close. The small forward spot remains unsettled and Tuesday head coach Doc Rivers used Lance Stephenson to play with the first unit. From Dan Woike of The Orange County Register:

"Originally, Rivers seemed committed to the idea of bringing Stephenson off the bench, but in an effort to solidify both lineups, Stephenson got his shot. Rivers said Stephenson could help ease the burden on Chris Paul, particularly on defense, because he can match up against either opposing guard or a small forward.
