LOS ANGELES – Legendary “Voice of the Clippers” Ralph Lawler was honored today with the Bob Miller Television Play-by-Play award as part of this year’s Southern California Sports Broadcasters (SCSB) luncheon at Lakeside Golf Club in Burbank, CA. Given to the top Southern California Play-by-Play Announcer, this marks a first for the L.A. Clippers broadcaster. Lawler is in his 40th season with the Clippers and will retire at the end of the season.
This award follows Lawler’s recent California Sportscaster of the Year accolade that was announced by The National Sports Media Association (NSMA) on January 14, 2019.
