LOS ANGELES – The NHL playoffs are better than the NBA playoffs.
(Yeah, even after this impossibly, ridiculously engaging Spurs-Clippers game.)
That first sentence is one I never thought I’d write, especially having just spent a month in Winnipeg last week.
Technically, I guess I was in Manitoba for only four days. But the time sure can crawl when the flurries are swirling and the wind is blowing with enough force to produce white caps on a pint of beer.
I’d say it was like living in a snow globe, but I’m pretty sure a snow globe would have been more comfortable.
