When asked about Marcus Morris Sr’s availability for Tuesday night’s season-opener, Clippers head coach Ty Lue didn’t really have an update.
“We don’t know as of right now.”
So far, Morris Sr. hasn’t made an appearance yet this preseason, as he’s dealing with a sore right knee. With the season just a few days away and no real gameplay under his belt, I would lean towards the side of him not playing on Tuesday. It’s a long season, no need to rush him back. Just make sure he gets healthy.
This offseason, Morris Sr. and the Clippers agreed to a four-year, $64 million contract, keeping him in Los Angeles for some time.
