Los Angeles Clippers: NBA suspends Chris Paul for two games

After his involvement in the altercation between the Houston Rockets and the Los Angeles Lakers, the NBA had suspended Chris Paul for two games. The first game of his suspension will come tonight against the Los Angeles Clippers.

The altercation started when Brandon Ingram of the Lakers reacted after being called for a foul on James Harden. Ingram shoved Harden in the back, sparking both teams to react.

During the scuffle, Rajon Rondo of the Lakers spit in Paul’s face, causing the two to get physical, including throwing punches. Ingram and Rondo were also suspended.

The suspension of Paul bodes well for the Clippers, who are looking to pick up their second win after defeating the Oklahoma City Thunder on Friday night.
