It seems like LA Clippers assistant Tyronn Lue won’t get the Philadelphia job.
The LA Clippers could potentially lose two of their assistant coaches this offseason. Both Tyronn Lue and Sam Cassell are rumored to have interest from multiple teams for their head coaching vacancies. Based on recent reports, however, Lue doesn’t seem like he will be heading to Philadelphia.
According to multiple reports, former Houston Rockets’ head coach Mike D’Antoni is now considered the favorite to land the job with the 76ers. As of now, Lue is still scheduled to meet with General Manager Elton Brand and the rest of the 76er higher-ups on Tuesday.
