Although LA Clippers fans should not be surprised when owner Steve Ballmer steps up to do the right thing for the community, his recent actions in the wake of the novel coronavirus pandemic are a reminder of how the Clippers culture has evolved since Ballmer bought the team in 2014.
Through the Ballmer Group, a philanthropic group founded by Ballmer and his wife, Connie, $1 million will be donated to several community groups in the Los Angeles area to immediately address the needs that have arisen in this unprecedented time.
The donations will be divided among several recipients in serious need.
