The LA Clippers selected University of Michigan forward/center Moussa Diabate with the 43rd overall pick in the 2022 NBA Draft.
“Moussa is a young big with a high motor who runs the floor, crashes the glass and defends multiple positions,” said Lawrence Frank, Clippers President of Basketball Operations. “His energy is infectious. We enjoyed getting to know him in the draft process and are excited to grow with him.”
Diabate averaged 9.0 points and 6.0 rebounds during his freshman season at Michigan. The 6-foot-11 forward/center led the Wolverines in offensive rebounds (76) and ranked second in total rebounds (191), blocked shots (28) and FG% (54.
