In a little more than 24 hours, the LA Clippers will take the court for the first regular-season game of the 2019-20 season. Their opponent, the Los Angeles Lakers, is touted as one of the preseason favorites to win the NBA championship. The game has been marketed as the first in the “Battle of LA” and the media will obviously swarm around this story no matter what the final score shows.
As fans, we need to remember that there is no point in overreacting. Tomorrow night may feel big and we will all certainly talk trash on Twitter and to any fans we know leading up to the game, but keep in mind that this is just one of 82 games.
