When Chris Paul somehow broke his right hand by snagging it in the shorts of a jumping Gerald Henderson on a layup attempt, the LA Clippers‘ hopes in the 2016 NBA playoffs were over in an instant. No longer did they have a chance to capitalize against the Golden State Warriors in the second round while Stephen Curry battled with his own injury. Paul’s injury is in the past now, though, but fans will still be pleased to know that his latest hand injury is nothing serious.
He currently has a sprained left thumb, although it’s in good enough condition that he won’t miss the remainder of the preseason.
