For days we have anticipated the return of forward JaMychal Green, and today, we got it, with Shams Charania of the Athletic reporting that Green will sign a 2 year, $10 million deal with the Clippers. This is the Clippers room exception, which means that their last avenue of signing players outside of veteran minimums has now been extinguished. Interestingly, Green has a player option for his second season — this contract is low for a player of Green’s talents, and this will allow him to test the market again next summer.
