The NBA today announced that L.A. Clippers guards Shai Gilgeous-Alexander and Landry Shamet have been named to the All-Rookie Second Team. The duo was the only rookie starting backcourt in the NBA Playoffs this season and helped the team to a 48-34 record, as L.A. became the fifth team in NBA history to win at least 45 games without an All-Star.
Gilgeous-Alexander, 20, who was selected by the Charlotte Hornets as the 11th overall pick in the 2018 NBA Draft and acquired by the Clippers on Draft Night, appeared in all 82 games for the Clippers, averaging 10.
