LOS ANGELES – Doc Rivers forcefully refuted a report that he is considering an offseason exit from the Clippers that would lead him back to the Orlando Magic, the team with which he got his start in coaching.
“I have a past with the Magic,” Rivers said Saturday. “I have no future. My future’s here.”
Rivers is in the third year of a five-year contract to serve as both the Clippers head coach and president basketball operations.
