CHICAGO – This was one the Clippers should’ve had.
They should’ve led by more than eight in the first quarter when the Bulls were sluggish out of the gate. They should’ve made more than 30 shots considering the quality of their 88 attempts. They should’ve been better down the stretch, even with Blake Griffin ejected.
They just weren’t, and because of it, they lost 83-80.
One of the best offenses in the NBA over the past three seasons should win games when the defense keeps the opposing team from scoring fewer than 85 points. That’s a given.
