Throw the name of Wes Unseld, Jr. into the ring for the LA Clippers head coaching job.
That’s the word Thursday, as Unseld reportedly interviewed with the Clippers, according to a report in the Denver Post from Mike Singer.
If the name is familiar it’s probably for two reasons: He was the top assistant coach to Michael Malone for the Denver Nuggets, who just beat the Clippers in the second round of the playoffs, and of course, his father Wes Unseld was a legendary NBA player and head coach, who died in June.
