The Clippers officially locked in their playoff seeding Wednesday, but listening to the team talk after the game, it was clear that this group has much loftier goals.
“Just happy we were able to make it to the playoffs, right now it doesn’t seem like seeds matter,” Kawhi Leonard said postgame. “We’re still in the journey. We just got to keep enjoying each day and the process.”
“It’s funny, I didn’t mention that we secured the 2 seed,” Doc Rivers added. “I don’t think anybody in the locker room talked about it.
