The Clippers announced Saturday they've waived former lottey pick Nikoloz Tskitishvili.
Tskitishvili, the former No. 5 pick in the 2002 NBA Draft, was attempting a comeback with the Clippers this season after forgettable stints in Denver, Minnesota, Golden State and Phoenix a decade ago.
He didn't play in the team's preseason opener Friday.
Tskitishvili, 32, earned a spot in training camp after a series of impressive perfomances over the summer in pick-up games at the Clippers' practice facility.
His deal was non-guarenteed, and following the roster move, the Clippers currently have 16 players on the roster.
