Reports have come in that the Clippers are trading veteran wing Wes Johnson to the Pelicans for big man Alexis Ajinca, and then waiving both Ajinca and guard Jawun Evans.
Wes played for the Clippers for three seasons, and was a key rotation player during the latter years of Lob City. His locker room presence and cheerful demeanor will be missed, but he simply had no room to play on this current roster.
Alexis Ajinca has been injury-plagued for years, and the Clippers will waive him immediately.
