Throughout the summer of 2024, somewhere in New York City, the New York Knicks read a brochure on Pacome Dadiet and elected to draft him with the 25th pick in the first round. He did not pan out, was a benchwarmer on the Knicks’ 2025 Eastern Conference Finals run, and has regressed as a sophomore, which explains why he is available, per Marc Stein’s report on ‘The Stein Line.’
However, this intel from Stein is indirectly intended for the LA Clippers. Dadiet is one of those youngsters who can be acquired cheaply and should not be judged by his first stint; he has literally been buried in the Knicks' rotation.
