Although health has been a team issue in the past, the LA Clippers traded Norman Powell, who was absent in 22 games last season, for John Collins, someone that had a very different level of availability with just 40 games recorded for the Utah Jazz in 2024-25.
Just by looking at these numbers, the Clippers took a massive risk, as it is usually not wise to trade one of the key pieces on a 50-win squad, that should have also been an All-Star, for a player with notable concerns dating all the way back to his third season in the league.
