The Anthony Davis rumors have exploded the past hour or so, with the Lakers and Celtics in hot pursuit of the Pelicans’ superstar. However, in the midst of it all, the Clippers are still involved, and are apparently “gaining traction” per ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski.
The Pelicans’ asking price is high, but the Clippers apparently have their ear, which can only mean that they’re willing to give up a fair chunk of their considerable assets. In particular, gaining traction to me would indicate that prized rookie Shai Gilgeous-Alexander is involved in talks.
