Clippers awaiting NBA's move on potential punishment for Blake Griffin

PLAYA VISTA – Clippers executive, coaches and players aren’t questioning the sincerity of Blake Griffin’s apology.

The Clippers star forward feels awful about the decisions he made in Toronto, decisions that left assistant equipment manager Matias Testi bruised and Griffin’s shooting hand broken.

But how does the NBA feel about what happened that night?

That question won’t be answered until the league issues its punishment, and despite hope that the team would learn Griffin’s fate by Wednesday, no one knows when it’ll happen.

“We’re just waiting, and we’ll figure it out once it’s done,” Clippers coach Doc Rivers said.
