The LA Clippers were among the most privileged teams of their rivals to add a center right when free agency began. They started off strong with Brook Lopez, and then the Los Angeles Lakers added DeAndre Ayton.
Of course, the Clippers believe they made the better addition over the Lakers with Lopez, someone Los Angeles had targeted. Nonetheless, both fan bases knew their favorite team was ahead of the Golden State Warriors, who were trying their best to stay patient with Jonathan Kuminga.
