Doc Rivers and the rest of the Los Angeles Clippers are making every attempt at moving on from the disgusting comments attributed to exiled Clippers owner Donald Sterling.
However, that doesn't mean that the situation won't rear its ugly head once again.
Per Marc J. Spears of Yahoo! Sports, Doc Rivers is focused on the future while still understanding that the past may bubble up once again regardless:

There have been numerous reports stating that Donald Sterling will put up a major fight in order to keep from having to sell the Los Angeles Clippers -- with that fight likely to drag a ton of skeletons out of the closet in regard to multiple instances of racism and sexism attributed to Sterling over the years.
If he does prolong the process to excruciating lengths, there is no telling what Doc Rivers will have to contend with as perhaps the most visible figurehead the Clippers have left -- providing he decides to stay after the season.
