Clippers Rumors: Sign-and-trade options for Jamal Crawford, moving on from LeBron?

In today's Clippers rumors and news update, the Los Angeles Clippers are shopping 2013-14 NBA Sixth Man of the Year Jamal Crawford to potential suitors around the NBA.

According to Adrian Wojnarowski of Yahoo! Sports, "Crawford has become a subject of sign-and-trade discussions with the Clippers, who have inquired about working deals for several potential free agents, including Cleveland's Luol Deng and Spencer Hawes, sources told Yahoo."

Crawford currently has two years and $11 million left on an extremely cost-effective deal which boasts a team option for the 2015-16 season. He is currently eligible for an extension in the summer of 2015, and after averaging 18.6 points in just 30 minutes per game last season, it's easy to see why Crawford believes he has outperformed his current deal.

"Our intention is to get an extension with the Clippers or anywhere else that he may be traded based on the fact that he's undervalued for the production he's providing," his agent Andy Miller stated to Yahoo Sports on Wednesday night.

As the Clippers dangle Crawford for potential big man additions, the question still remains - if LeBron James continues to showcase indecision about a potential return to Miami, will  the Clippers drop everything in their pursuit of the ten-time All-Star?

At this point, like many NBA teams, it seems like the Clippers are cautiously moving on from the circus surrounding LeBron...but, they could very well chance course abruptly if James or his agent come calling.
