Clippers Down Spurs In Game 7, Advance To Play Rockets

In a tightly fought game 7 in LA, the Los Angeles Clippers beat the San Antonio Spurs 111-109 to advance to the Western Conference Semifinals against the Houston Rockets.

The Clippers got the ball with 8.8 seconds left in a tied game, and Chris Paul drove to his right and threw up an impossible bank shot over Tim Duncan that went in with 1 second on the clock to win.

In a game that was tied in the final minute, Chris Paul was fouled attempting a 20 foot jump shot and hit 2 free throws 13 seconds left to put the Clippers 109-107. On the next possession, Tim Duncan was fouled on a shot attempt at the front of the rim, nailing both free throws to tie the game 109-109.

Blake Griffin ed the Clippers with 25 points and 12 rebounds, while Chris Paul added 25 pints and 6 assists.
