SAN DIEGO – Chargers coach Mike McCoy gave his players the entire bye week off with the hope that some of the injured players could heal up and make it back to the practice field.
With players returning to Chargers Park for a Monday practice, it appears that McCoy accomplished his goal.
Receiver Travis Benjamin, who missed San Diego’s loss to the Miami Dolphins two weeks ago with a sprained right knee, practiced on Monday and appears on track to play on Sunday against the Houston Texans.
