The Chargers have a good history of Undrafted Free Agents making the final 53 and this year the name to look out for is the Cornerback out of BYU Michael Davis. With the Cougars, Davis recorded 110 tackles, 5 tackles for a loss, 17 pass break-ups, a forced fumble and an interception. The wideout turned defensive back was labeled at 6’2/196 in college and scouts clocked Davis (the former sprinter) 40-time at 4.34.
As Training Camp approaches the biggest surprise to catch my eye in OTAs was #43. Davis was all over the field and made the highlight of OTAs for me where he high-pointed an interception and pulled it down with his fingertips.
