SAN DIEGO -- Adam Gase cut his teeth as a position coach with the Denver Broncos under then-offensive coordinator Mike McCoy.
The two worked together for four seasons with the Broncos, engineering one of the top offenses in the NFL during that time.
Now, McCoy and Gase face off for the first time as head coaches. Gase, a first-year head coach for the Miami Dolphins, travels to San Diego to face McCoy’s Chargers on Sunday.
Gase worked as a receivers coach and quarterbacks coach under McCoy during his time with the Broncos.
