After a third straight loss the are reeling with their season all but mathematically over sitting at 4-7, the joint second worst record in the AFC. Their Week 12 loss to the Baltimore Ravens may have shown promise but that is not what Brandon Staley needs right now, he needed a statement win to save their season and instead found yet another way to lose a close game. It is now very safe to say that the Chargers’ 2023 season is over and so is the Brandon Staley era. The glimpses we have seen over the past three seasons have been few and far between, there has not been a single consistent element and if anything every single unit has regressed under this regime.
