The Chargers came away with the win yesterday, but at what cost? Star RB Melvin Gordon III went down with a knee injury on a trick play in the 3rd Quarter of Sunday’s game. He was receiving a pitch from fellow RB Austin Ekeler when Arizona Cardinals defensive tackle Robert Nkemdiche was being blocked to the ground and his legs hit MG3 in the knee from the side.
Gordon hit the ground and was instantly grimacing in pain. He was helped to the sideline and his knee was tested by team staff.
