A season to forget got a little worse for the Chargers with a loss to the Denver Broncos on Sunday. Here are the grades.
Quarterbacks
Philip Rivers threw a horrible pick-6 (as if there’s a good one), his fifth of the season, and had another — which would have made for an NFL record — called back by holding. He even had an intentional grounding penalty, difficult in 2015. But he’s playing teams so much better than his it’s hard to imagine intervention by a higher authority doing him much good.
