Rashee Rice's availability for the Kansas City Chiefs has a direct impact on the start of the season for the LA Chargers. After Minnesota Vikings wide receiver Jordan Addison received a three-game suspension to start the season, many Chargers fans assumed they would not see Rice in Sal Paulo in Week 1.
However, initial reports indicated that Rice's disciplinary hearing wouldn't come until late in September, opening the door for him to play the first three games of the season. Rice's perceived availability completely changed the outlook of the Chargers' Week 1 game.
That perceived availability may not be the reality, though.
